At The Play Garden, we provide space for children to interact with nature, create strong bonds of friendship, and create what they imagine. Our yard has spaces for planting, bug finding, and all kinds of games, as well as many edible plants to enjoy.

Adventure Play had its inception in Europe during World War II, when children began to use destroyed buildings and landscapes as informal playgrounds. Inspired by this new way of playing, grownups began intentionally creating adventure playgrounds for children, equipped with loose parts to modify the space. Today, Europe has about 1,000 adventure playgrounds. The United States has fewer than ten.
